Sandra Bierut Varelmann ASID, President, created WEAVE IDeAS in the spring of 2007 to provide clients with Interior Design services. Prior to opening the firm, Sandy worked for a local Cleveland architectural firm for nine years designing award winning Commercial and Residential spaces. Her projects while at the firm (100+) ranged from corporate offices, educational, industrial, and healthcare facilities to high-end private residences throughout the greater Cleveland area and nationally. 

Sandy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Ursuline College in 1998, graduating summa cum laude. While in school, Sandy earned a International Interior Design Association student award for her design of a Health Club and Spa. Upon graduating, Sandy joined a local firm and while there she earned four American Society of Interior Designers awards for Commercial and Residential projects. Sandy has been published in Northern Ohio Live magazine, The Akron Beacon Journal, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, was on the cover of the March 2007 issue of Cleveland Business Connects magazine, participated in a FOX 8 Style Swap television show, is a contributor for the e-book "Decorating With Fine Wood Furniture," participates in the "Designer On Call" program, and is a frequent speaker on design and feng shui.

Sandy returned to Cleveland, Ohio in 1995 from the California Bay Area to attend school. She has a passion for design with a special interest in Feng Shui, Green Building, and Coastal Design.  Sandy is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is currently the President of the Ohio North Chapter. Sandy is also an active member of Woment Advancing Women, she is a member of The Cleveland Green Building Coalition, she has received certification for Female Business Enterprise status for the City of Cleveland, and has received EDGE certification for the State of Ohio.
